A: Ribs, ribs, and more ribs, which you can wash down with with a slab of ribs. For those who desire something other than ribs, we have a wide range of alternative fare available, from hot dogs to funnel cakes, French fries, strawberry crepes, pierogis, cotton candy and other traditional festival fare. Click here to view the list of participating ribbers.
A: There is no Bike Night this year, but bikes are welcome anytime throughout the weekend, and can park right on the midway in our convenient Bike Corral. That way, you can enjoy your ribs while keeping an eye on your ride. Regular Admission applies.
A: Ribs will be judged by a blind panel for best ribs and best sauce; however attendees “have a say” and can vote via sms text for People's Choice throughout the weekend. Information on how to vote will be displayed on-site at each rib team station.
A: While many ribbers and merchants at Berea's National Rib Cook-Off and Beer Fest do accept credit cards, admission to the festival is cash only, and runs $10 per person (excepting our FREE Before 5pm promotion on FRIDAY ONLY). Once inside the festival grounds, ATMs are available should you need to withdraw cash.
A. In addition to great ribs, all rib teams offer chicken and some even have shrimp on their menu. Also, a long-time food concession of Berea’s National Rib Cook-Off & Beer Fest is Sue’s Pierogi’s. Sue also offers the best deep-fried veggies you will ever find.
