BEREA ROAD CONSTRUCTION

State Route 237 (Front Street) Grade Separation, Berea Front Street is currently closed from a point between the CSX and Norfolk Southern Railroad tracks and First Avenue (Lou Groza Boulevard).  Access to the Lou Groza Boulevard/Front Street intersection is maintained from Bagley Road only.  Access to businesses north of the Norfolk Southern Railroad tracks is from North Rocky River Drive only.  Depot Street is closed completely between Columbus Street and Front Street.  

Access to Depot Street is from Bagley Road via North Rocky River Drive only. Within the coming month, the intersections at Front Street and Lou Groza Boulevard and Front Street and 2nd Avenue will be closed entirely for a period not to exceed 35 days.  Details will be forthcoming.  Front Street will remain closed until approximately August 31, 2010 as crews work to construct a grade separation to carry Front Street traffic over the CSX and Norfolk Southern railroad tracks and an access road.  Access to driveways will be maintained throughout the project however access points will vary as construction progresses. Tentative completion date: July 31, 2011.
