When: Saturday, 12-2:30PM
You will not want to miss this year's Miss Berea Princess competition. Rumor has it that one of the candidates not only strives for world peace, but has secretly achieved it, and will be bringing it with her for the talent competition. Berea's National Rib Cook-Off in no way guarantees that universal harmony can be brought about by chanting and yoga, but the world being what it is, we're willing to give her a shot. The winner will receive either a prize package consisting of a diamond studded tiara, a brand new Jet Ski and a half a million dollars, or if those items aren't in stock, a bouquet and a hearty round of applause.

FEATURING LAWLESSS
Website: lawlesscountry.com
When: Friday Night
Sponsor: Cleveland's Harley-Davidson
F
riday night the fairgrounds will roar with the rolling thunder of a hundred dust kicking hogs, while crowds likewise roar for local favorite Lawless. That's right, it's Bike Night, sponsored by Cleveland's Harley-Davidson Sales Company. Bikers are invited to bring their bikes right inside the gate, but must enter through the main entrance (Gate 5, off Bagley Road). From there, riders will be directed to a special parking area (hog pen) right on the midway, so they can enjoy the food and entertainment without worrying about their rides.
Killer bikes, awesome live music, and some of the best barbecue in the world. It couldn't get any better than that... unless of course we were to offer free admission. Okay, Friday night ADMISSION IS FREE! Now it really couldn't get any better... unless perhaps we were to offer free ribs? ...Well, we aren't, so it's not going to get any better — but still, when times are tight and pocketbooks light, free admission and entertainment makes for a pretty good night bad night.
